Coca Tea with Boldo
Mate de coca or coca tea is a herbal tea made from the dry, raw and crushed leaves of the coca plant.
Once the filter is soaked in hot water it will extract its contents such as inulin, phytonutrients, and alkaloids.
The Coca leaves also contain Vitamins A, C, E as well as B2 and B6.
Drink the tea alone or with honey preferably.

Put a filter in a mug, add boiling water and let it sit for a few minutes until it is dense in color.

I have been drinking coca tea, from another merchant, for some time, just regular Delisse plain coca tea. I always put a little baking soda in the teapot as I have some esophageal problems which that seems to help. The tea with Boldo is much more smooth and soothing, and seems to have even more of a beneficial effect on my digestive system. Also the folks at Andean Leaves are great to deal with and I receive all my orders much quicker than the other merchant. I never got anything from them in less than 5 weeks, and several times would not receive my order at all. They would “declare it lost” and re-ship. I must say they always made good on things and I had no problem with communications, but it would sometimes take 3 months to get my order.
